Lumpy Grits Artistry is gearing up for their 2023-2024 season. In 2018, LGA
produced an Afro-Greek version of Lysistrata and took the show on the road. In 2020,
LGA produced an Afro-Greek version of Elektra that was filmed due to Covid-19. The film premiered in June 2021. LGA celebrated their 10th birthday season this past March 2023. The company produced a creative version of Shakespeare’s, Measure for Measure at Central Art Station. LGA artists performed at the Red River Revel this past fall. Lumpy Grits Artistry be at East Bank Theatre on February 3-4, 2024 with two line ups.

LGA Children and Youth Theatre - The youth troupe will perform a variety of scenes such as the Anansi: Lord of Stories,Youth Driven Original Poems and Short Scenes and more.
African Mean Girls Play
African Mean Girls" by Jocelyn Bioh is a funny, biting commentary on beauty pageants, as seen through the eyes of young Ghanaian hopefuls. This is essentially a comedy, but at the same time, it addresses the serious issues of colorism, classism, and bullying.
